There's been a few threads discussing various turn ons and turn offs on this site, and I was just wondering where everyone stands on scars. I myself have three scars from surgery, one about an inch long above my belly button and then one an inch long or so to the side of the other, and the final one down about two inches from my belly button. I've often wondered how these scars affected people's attractions, and I'd like to hear from everyone their opinion on scars.

I would have to agree with wateriesfire on the factors,
concerning scars.

I guess it depends on a lot things, combat wounds compared
to cutting your hand with a open can lid. Or maybe the pot
marked face of the adult, who didn't do much to treat their
acne as child. Stuff like that.

I have a very large scar on the back of my right leg from a run in with a barb wire fence... I honestly forget that it's there most of the time.

I have other little scars from various pets and the fact that I'm a klutz.

I can't say I mind scars on a guy or girl... espeically if they have an interesting story behind them.

Not a big fan of scars, mainly because I have way too many of them. All from things ranging from silly (a crazy rabid sidewalk attacked my bike, and then me when I hit the ground) to stupidity on my part (hit myself in the head with a crowbar... Nuff said...), to ones caused by someone elses stupidity (which cost me a finger... Thank you, non-English speaking and reading @$$bag...)

I don't mind scars. To me, they're a sign of experience and character. If a woman is beautiful, she's beautiful, and I've seen some realy bad scars. That includes c-sections! And to damageincracing:I can match you 2 out of three, but I've still got all 10 digits, though I may catch up soon! (For me it was a rabid wall, not a sidewalk, and the threaded end of a steel pipe instead of a crowbar-both from my own stupidity!)

I don't mind scars unless their the ones that poke out and they would have to be pretty big to turn me off

I actually don't mind facial scars if they're well placed. Again the mystery does it for me, and if the scar is facial, then there's really no hiding it and it makes an interesting conversational piece.

I have one from surgury, then I have a couple I did to myself by wiping out on my bike numurous times. Then, I have a few from an abusive grandparent when I was young.

I occasionally get temporary ones from my cat...

i've got a few scars. nothing major, just nice little reminders of the stupid shit i used to do.
