Ben has been involved in anime and web development since 2000. In his spare time, he dances
Lindy Hop,
Blues, and
Argentine Tango.
He also enjoys soccer, travelling abroad, creative cooking, and socks. When working on AA, he most often listens to obscure electronica.
Although he no longer watches much anime, he still enjoys the work of Hayao Miyazaki.
Ben has recently graduated Portland State University with Magna Cum Laude honors, a degree in Marketing, and a certificate in International Business.
Self named 'the dark elf of AA' ElvenAvari chose her name from her favorite fandom, Lord of the Rings.
Elven currently attends University of the Cumberlands and is studying to getting her teaching degree in Art Education for the secondary school level (although she really wants to be a librarian). She is 21 years old and is from a small town with no stop lights.
She spends the majority of her free time writing fanfics for various fandoms, listening to random selections of music and chatting with friends.
AA has been home to ElvenAvari since 2004. She plans to stay for many years to come. She is a huge fan of shounen-ai and is not ashamed of it.
Jent has just recently made a big move, and now lives in Southern California, with Phatcrux989. She is 23 years old, and still holds on to the dream of going to college, to pursue a better career, but has no immediate plans. Her hobbies generally include video games, listening to music, and keeping up with current events. She still hopes to travel to England and Japan, and goes to Comic Con in San Diego every year!
Some of her favorite musical artists are Idan Raichel, Jay Chou, and The Cardigans.
Jent collects manga, and some of her favorites include Battle Royale, Great Teacher Onizuka, Paradise Kiss, and Peach Girl, to name a few.
Khellamendra is a 21 year old college student who is currenlty studying Computer Multimedia and Desgin. She has recently celebrated her second year as a waitress but hopes to move on to better things soon. When she is not on AA she generally fills her time with writing and messing with HTML, though she is also an avid RPG fan who loves to play D&D the most. She has been a fan of anime since the late 80's, long before it was given it's own category. She has been an avid fan, always finding new and interesting anime.
Khellamendra has been a member of this site since Dec 31, 2003 and plans to stay for a while. She is eager to see the direction it will go in the future.
Ladyfyreyes is a 47 year old would be writer. She hopes to soon have her first novel published. She writes fantasy, Sci-fi and Role playing games. She is currently working on a game called "the Kingdoms" and a novel "A Cry in the Dark". She has been an avid fan of anime since the early 80’s when she was introduced to it at a gaming convention. She enjoys most all anime as long as it has a plot and the art is good. Other interest includes RPG’s, reading, writing, drawing and learning everything. She is currently teaching herself how to draw anime style.
Ladyfyreyes joined the site in July of 2004, after visiting it since August 2002. She is looking forward to watching the AA community grow.
Moosandra has been with the site since June 2002. She is best known for being stubborn (since she's always right). She is also known for having a great dislike for people who try to push their ideals onto others. While, not familiar with the many different Anime and Manga out there, she does enjoy looking at the pictures found all over the web. Because of this she considers AA one of her many homes on the net.
Where anime is not involved, she enjoys playing World of Warcraft, dealing in anything that has to do with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (she has been an avid fan of them since she was six). She is also an avid role-player and is familiar with d10 (World of Darkness) system and simple free form (usually Ninja Turtles). She has been role-playing online for about eight years.
